Manitoba Immigration Pathways
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) selects workers, Manitoba graduates and business applicants who can contribute to the province and intend to settle in Manitoba.
Skilled Worker Stream
For experienced workers with a strong Manitoba connection.
- Skilled Worker in Manitoba: based primarily on ongoing Manitoba employment.
- Skilled Worker Overseas: requires an established Manitoba connection through support, prior Manitoba experience or a Manitoba invitation.
International Education Stream
For eligible recent graduates of designated Manitoba post-secondary institutions.

Business Investor Stream
For qualified entrepreneurs and farm investors who intend to establish and actively operate a business or farm in Manitoba.

How the Skilled Worker / Education Process Works
1. EOICreate an Expression of Interest profile.
2. LAASelected candidates may receive a Letter of Advice to Apply.
3. ApplySubmit a complete MPNP application.
4. NominationManitoba assesses the application and may nominate.
5. Federal PRApply separately to IRCC for permanent residence.
EOI is not an application or a guarantee. Manitoba can target specific occupations, sectors, regional needs or candidate groups in individual selections. Eligibility and selection are separate.
Provincial fee: the current MPNP application fee for Skilled Worker and applicable International Education applications after receiving an LAA is $500 CAD. Business Investor Stream applications use a separate process and fee structure.
