This is not the old 2019 100-point calculator. The Northwest Territories introduced a new Employer-Driven Stream Expression of Interest ranking system in 2026. This calculator uses the current NWT-specific 845-point grid.

Choose the CLB/NCLC level for each individual ability. The current grid awards points per band, not from the lowest overall result.

The official EOI grid awards 25 points for qualifying bilingual ability in the second official language.

Use full-time experience in the same or a similar occupation as the nominating occupation. The grid defines full-time as 30+ hours per week for one employer.

Foreign credentials require an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) under the current grid.

There is no permanent “pass score.” The NWT ranks eligible Employer-Driven Stream EOI profiles and invites the highest-scoring candidates through draws. Draw ranges can change, so do not treat an earlier draw score as a guaranteed future cutoff.

What This Calculator Covers

This tool calculates the Employer-Driven Stream EOI ranking score used for Entry Level/Semi-Skilled Occupations, Skilled Worker and NWT Express Entry profiles. It does not calculate federal CRS points.

Important Before Submitting an EOI

  • You still need to meet the mandatory eligibility criteria of the relevant Employer-Driven category.
  • An EOI is a ranking profile, not a nomination application.
  • Only one active EOI can be submitted per person.
  • Profiles can remain in the pool for up to 12 months if not selected earlier.
Information tool only. The calculator uses the Government of Northwest Territories Employer-Driven Stream Expression of Interest Points Grid currently published in 2026. It does not guarantee eligibility, an invitation, nomination or permanent residence. The NWT can change its points grid, skilled-trades list, program criteria, draw priorities or nomination allocation.
