Durham College of Applied Arts and Technology is in the Durham Region of Ontario, Canada, with a campus co-located with Ontario Tech University in Oshawa, a second campus in Whitby, and community employment services in Uxbridge, Port Hope, Port Perry, Beaverton, Oshawa and Bowmanville. At the time of its opening, Durham College had 14 employees teaching 205 students in 15 portable classrooms. It then offered courses in the fields of business, applied arts and technology.  Durham College now offers a wide range of full-time, online, certificate and diploma courses in fields such as media, art, general arts, justice, health, skilled trade, and engineering. Apart from the Oshawa branch, there is a campus in Whitby, as well as a learning site in Pickering. In addition, the college organizes cooking, sewing, and beauty and fashion camps.
